Roots at War

Gamepad controls.

Press any button to join the game (up to 4 players).

Start the game by holding the south button (X on Playstation controller, A on Xbox).

During the game: Select a claimed water pond (indicated by a circle of your tree's color) by using the left stick or the d-pad. Use this pond's water by pressing the south button. Transport the water to the edges of your rooty domain to quickly expand in a direction of your choosing (preferably towards more ponds). When the water is used up, you will be back to selecting the next pond to use.

When everything is overgrown, the winner is the one with the greatest area.

Restart by pressing the north button.

You can also restart the game while it is running by holding the north button.
